“I have been one acquainted with the night.
I have walked out in rain—and back in rain.
I have outwalked the furthest city light.”
—Robert Frost
On the last morning of my stay in Seattle, I strolled the city alone with my camera. I took photos of things that caught my eye and allowed myself to be an explorer in a big land. It was the most creative and alive I’ve felt in a long time.
I hope you enjoy these photos and please let me know if you have a favorite.

Thank you. Those are some of my favorites too. I love the contrast of the dark street with the lights.

Your eye is changing. The photos of late are more complex, demand more of me. When I want demands, that’s good…. Thanks for the nostalgic shots of WA, especially Seattle where I visited my grandparents in my childhood, and attended the UW.

What a nice place to visit as a child and I’ve heard UW has a beautiful campus. Yes, I suppose my eye is changing. Thank you for noticing. I’ve been taking more complex shots. The next step, I suppose, is to make sure there’s a good balance. I’m still learning.

I think that’s my specialty with photos. I tend to really like to play with darkness.
