  1. #5 does it for me! I have a partially complete childrenโ€™s book with a sketch that very much resembles that picture! Itโ€™s like you took it write from my head! Beautiful photos! Many of the others also bring up different feeling when observing, but mostly that lone pine tree!

So beautiful words written in quote!
All the great photos. I much like blog second pic.

  3. I like especially where the snow and the water meet.
A question – do you have HDR software? We have snow quite rarely here but I got some really good results when I took some snow pics. Brought out detail in the sky, especially.

  4. Bridgette, The photos are all special in there own way, making picking one quite hard, but I think the first one with the foot prints jumps out, you get a sense of mystery imagining who has gone by and why๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค—

  5. Think I got rules for most everything, although most, I don’t even know what they are. Hardly fair. That’s rule one. Many fine photographs, I surely couldn’t do. Some simply exceptional, more charm than I can resist.

#1 I’m surprised, but tracks “coming to me”, rather than away, is brilliant, welcoming, engaging. Yep.
#6 in a scene of white and dark, the presence of clear green wakes up the otherwise sleepy mountain snow. Beautiful.

Very very honorable mentions. #3, #5, #8 where I feel the forest.
Good work. Do hope folks enlarge because there’s more more to see.

    • You are probably the only person who noticed the tracks are coming toward the camera. I turned around and took the photo of my own tracks…felt somewhat more intimate that way. Glad you liked that one.

I’m so glad you liked so many of these. It was really so magical there.
