poetry: beeswax breath

inhale my darling
take fire inside
remember burning bright
before plunging under

take boxed somethings
here and there
make golden space
for not-so-quiet permission

  1. Lovely, Bridgette. Nice to see your presence again after a spell.

Looks like my workplace might be interested in sending me out in your direction with or without the client’s buy in sometime next spring.

Gotto see if there’s budget, but I might have to hit you up for that coffee after all 🙂

    • Thank you! Yes, I’m very sporadic with my blog these days. I think I’ve reached a bit of a burnout phase. I’m examining what that means and how to move forward, but for now it’s probably going to be this way.

I really do hope you come out in the spring. I’d love to buy you that coffee.

  2. I’ve said this before, but I really do hope you collect your poems and publish them in a book sometime. Your poetry is very good, better than a lot of the stuff I’ve seen in The New Yorker and other big-name journals. I look forward to seeing more of this. 🙂
