It’s been a season of reading books, doing puzzles, snuggling under blankets, and savoring the warmth of my home. Big goals and plans are on the horizon, but right now I’m moving slowly and feeling fully into where I am at this moment.
Thank you to everyone who has read my blog this year despite my sporadic and inconsistent pattern. It’s been a year of tremendous highs and lows. I am mourning loss and also feeling incredibly blessed for new people who have come into my life.
May your New Year’s Eve and all next year swirl with beauty, love, peace, and hope.

Thank you. I don’t have very steady hands, but hopefully I’ll remember how to use FStops. Reading more blogs and books is a good idea. I was thinking about reading more classics.

You can also get a tripod to help with the steady hands part. I’m venturing into portraits this year… terrified, but excited!

I bought a tripod and remote. But by the time I line it up on a bird…it has flown away. I’m working on it though. It does help with my shakiness.

Yes, birds are fast! My only other advice is to take A LOT of shots. Bursts of photos work great for birds because you may even get them in flight. Good luck!
