Photography: Tomales Catholic Cemetery

Last week I revisited the Tomales Catholic Cemetery after spending the week with my family at the beach. Here are some of my favorite images from my brief time wandering the small area with my camera. I’m experimenting again with a more vintage, film-like editing style. Let me know what you think and if you have a favorite images.

If your interested, here are the photos I took at the same place in 2023. I think I may like those images better, but these certainly invoke a different feeling. What do you think?

  1. What a beautiful and atmospheric collection of photographs! 📷✨ There is something wonderfully timeless about the vintage, film-like editing—it gives the cemetery a quiet, nostalgic character and makes each image feel like a glimpse into another era.

I especially appreciate how you’ve captured not just the place, but the mood and stories hidden within it. The softness of the editing seems to complement the stillness of the surroundings beautifully.
