soft like white fur
clinging to black dress
soft like candlelight
blowing eucalyptus breath
soft like giggle drawing
robot monsters together
soft like rocks in pockets
skipped back into water
soft like sparkly blue nails
resting on round pillow
soft like muddy sticks
scrapping into roots
soft like accepting wheels
when hip turns to spikes
soft like falling apart
in nurtured soil
soft like moon sisters
circling around me
soft like shutter clicking
framing my own skin
soft like

This is as beautiful as it is artistically perfect. The last iteration of ‘soft like’ spills the secret of the impossible metaphors, but by that time the piece is already sailing on unstoppable winds.
I especially loved this:
soft like falling apart
in nurtured soil
soft like moon sisters
circling around me
soft like shutter clicking
framing my own skin
