This weekend I helped my sister with her booth at the Folsom Farmers Market. Of course, I had to spend some time walking around with my camera. I’m getting faster at switching up my settings, and I met some pretty cute dogs. And a pig! Let me know if you have a favorite and have a great week.

- My sister’s business: Hook, Line, and Layer
- Photos taken with the Olympus E-M1 MarkII, using a 14-150mm lens and edited with Lightroom Classic.
#s 4, 6, 7, 10, 15, & 24 are my favorites!
It looks like you had quite the time judging by the photos.

What a delightful glimpse into your weekend! Your eye for detail really shines through—it’s lovely how you’ve captured not just moments, but little personalities, especially with the animals. The variety adds charm, and your growing confidence with camera settings is clearly paying off. A joyful and lively collection that makes the reader feel like they were right there at the market.

I’m so glad you find the collection works as a whole. That’s something I’m working on, getting varied shots to tell a complete story. You’ve made my day with this comment. Thank you!!!

Who needs that many lemons? Hahaha! Right?! My thoughts exactly. My sister is letting me do her portraits for next month! It will be crochet themed and I’m super excited!

Thanks so much! I’m so proud of her and her lovely little creations. She just made a baby highland cow this morning and a rubber ducky with a hat. They are all soooo cute!

She’s been really focused on the markets lately and often sells out of her minis before she can post them on her Etsy. If you want to commission a certain animal, you should email her. She loves custom orders. https://www.instagram.com/hooklineandlayer?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==
