The way you frame the eye as both observer and “memory keeper” feels so powerful—like a quiet meditation on perception, truth, and healing. Each line lands with intention, almost like footsteps… step step step… click click click… breathe—it creates a rhythm that pulls the reader inward.
Thank you for such a thoughtful response. I’ve not really been writing and when these words came it really was like a meditation. I’m glad it came across that way. I love my camera and I’m finding it’s become almost an extension of me, so comfortable in my hand and up to my eye.
Lovely poem! Is that a Canon?

Nope, my same old Olympus camera. I’ve grown quite fond of it.

Oh, okay, I’ve never owned that brand. I’m a Nikon guy all the way! 😂

This is striking in its simplicity and depth.

Thank you so much. Words have evaded me lately, and this one just flowed out while I was walking. I’m glad you liked it.

How wonderful. I get my best thoughts while walking, too.
