floating weightless
I watch two lifeguards
change places, ground to tower
first
all bodies counted
all bodies noticed
all bodies
mine has waited
years upon years
for me to notice
belly breath
for me to return
heart filled
welcome back
we say
together
reunited
Love this !!

Probably too short of a comment. I think brevity is a flag.

I very much like the notion you opened here, body & body, and mind & body, coming home. This is waking meditation doing what only it can do best. Water is a powerful medium. Belly breath, I like that phrase.

Thank you. Itās been a long time since I felt connected with my body. Opening my body to breathing deeply again feels like a beginning. How many of those do we get? Seems like more than we recognize.

This is the first time in my life that movement is not a punishment and isnāt to ālose weight.ā Itās simply to feel stronger and more in my body. Iām learning. ā¤ļø

Bridgette, when we start out on any new journey whatever it maybe,we all inhale confidence and exhale doubt, hoping not only to fit in but to get counted with everyone else.the words floating weightless and years to be noticed touch me. everybody wants to be love because when we are loved we are respected and cared for, filling our hearts with joy āŗļø enjoy your weekend šā¤ļø

Dearest Bridgette, I’m sorry for my absence from your blog and for not emailing for ages. I’ve been ill for some months but am slowly and steadily making good progress now.
Your words here are just beautiful. I’m glad you are enjoying the water to connect with yourself again.
I was taught to belly breathe by a yoga teacher a long time ago. However, I don’t practise it enough, and I’m more than a little rusty. It’s a good thing to do, and thank you for the reminder within your lovely words for me to start doing that again.
How are you keeping these days? And how is your daughter doing now? I hope your son and partner are well, too. Do feel free to email me if you’d rather not share this personal information publicly. With much love and hugs, dear friend. Xxx šš¹š

I’m so glad you are all well, Bridgette. I hope that life is treating you kindly. I’m feeling much better now. Each day that goes by, I can see myself moving forward instead of backwards like I have been over the last year or more. It’s good to be able to write again, although my concentration for reading isn’t as good as it was yet, but I’ll get there. Thank you for your wishes for healing and for your love. Do look after yourself. Much love and hugs ~ Ellie xxx šš„°š
