hold this, please
while I wander underwater
where softness grows
where muted heartbeats
dance
look closer, bend
see tiger stripes gleaming
where fire resides
where boldness bellows
sings
become mermaid, dive
unfold each lovely bloom
where water renews
where bells chime
live
This was beautiful, Bridgette. ❤ Lovely inspiring verses! 🙂

Bridgette an insight into the world of petals diving in like a mermaid and muted heartbeats, what you see and feel is up to how far your imagination will take you🙏❤️

Yes! Lately I’ve been spending a lot of time in water and it’s reminded me how deep our imagination goes and how connected we all are. Thank you for the thoughtful comment.

Thank you so much, Kate. That’s the exact feeling I was expressing. I’ve recently started swimming laps daily and it’s been transformative.

I love swimming laps, the deep breathing and rhythm is so soothing. We were at our home on the coast over Christmas and I began ocean swimming with a group – it’s addictive. I love swimming in all its forms though. Your post really resonated with me for that reason I think.

Picture is very interesting. I like much the form and pace of this poem. Compact within itself. (no mud on these shoes) 😀

Thank you. I think by making the camellia black and white it more clearly shows off its petal structure. Compact is a good word to describe this poem.
