earth eyes shining
houses in alignment
mercury on water
hold the lantern
copper pot overfilling
tell me what you see

moon promises alchemy
elements within palms
draw a diagram
seven-part light
bareback rider
strong silver chain
tell me what you see

earth promises center
fingertips reaching
voices folding
firelight gathering
bracing together
container of all
tell me what you see

i see home

  3. What a beautiful and meditative poem. I love the way each stanza invites the reader to look beyond the literal and discover meaning through symbols, intuition, and imagination. The repeated refrain, “tell me what you see,” draws us into a quiet dialogue, encouraging personal reflection rather than offering fixed answers.

    The progression from the cosmos, to transformation, to the grounding presence of earth is wonderfully crafted. And then, with just three simple words—“i see home”—the poem finds its emotional center. It is a gentle yet powerful ending that transforms all the preceding imagery into a place of belonging, connection, and peace.
