feel the tug
iron pulling
spinning fast
you blur beside me
was it a breath ago
or was it yesterday
hold my hand
everything bleeds into track

When my son was a boy we went on a carnival ride. He was okay but I nearly had a little accident. 🤭🤭

I really like the photo. I confess I needed to read the comments to understand the poem.

I don’t know if you need to understand it. Really it’s about time passing and missing people who have passed, but really it’s what you think it’s about.

Every word carries weight in this compressed poem. The present and the past merge into the tracks in a blur of memories. The imagery of bleeding hints at something deeply painful.
